Overview
Faith® dual function AFCI/GFCI receptacles are the latest innovation in electrical safety and a code approved alternative to dual function AFCI/GFCI breakers. Designed to protect against electrical fires caused by arc faults and injury due to electrical shock, these new devices are compliant with NEC® AFCI and GFCI requirements in kitchens and laundry areas for new construction or electrical services upgrades, circuit modifications/extensions and replacement receptacles and provide tamper resistant protection. Like GFCI receptacles, AFCI/GFCI receptacles are installed in the living space so homeowners can see the indicator light and perform TEST and RESET locally.
The Faith® AFCI/GFCI receptacle has one indicator light for signaling, making it easy to distinguish between a trip caused by an arc fault and a trip caused by a ground fault. This means less confusion for the homeowner and therefore fewer callbacks for the contractor. Unlike AFCI/GFCI breakers which must match the brand of the breaker box Faith® AFCI/GFCI receptacles fit any wall box, reducing inventory. The GFCI function has a self-test feature that tests itself every two hours instead of continuous testing avoiding confusion and providing the stable protection.

AFCI/GFCI combination receptacle helps protect your home and family from both arc-faults (AFCI) and from ground-faults (GFCI) by working to detect these hazards. The devices will quickly cut off power to help avoid a potential fire or shock occurrence when detected.
Self-test conducts automatically so it’s always ready to protect. The indicator light flash in red color means it should be replaced when the device fail to pass the test.
Prevents line-load reversal miswire: the devie is not working thus no power will be delivered if wired incorrectly.
Support automatic end of life detection to provide improved end of life (EOL) detection by rejecting false EOL information.
Tamper-resistant shutters meet NEC Article 406.12 requirements to prevents unwanted objects from being inserted into the receptacle for increased child safety.
Impact-resistant thermoplastic cover and body for durability.
