Overview
This Tamper/Weather Resistant GFCI receptacle is a 15 Amp self-test GFCI that prevent the electrical current and identify leaks in the circuit. The GFCI trips the circuit and stops the flow of electricity once If leaks are identified. This TRWR 15A GFCI receptacle is suitable for installing in a variety of facilities include Kitchen, Bathroom, Wet Bar, Laundry Room, Garage, Unfinished Basement, Crawl Space, Around Spa/Hot Tubs, Outdoor kitchens/grilling area, Sprinkler Systems, Swimming Pool and many other placements for indoor and outdoor appliances.
This Duplex GFCI Outlet features both nickel plated contact and mounting strap to prevent corrosion. Tamper resistant and Weather Resistant GFCI offers protection from rain, snow, ice, moisture, and humidity when it is properly installed in an approved weather protective cover. Weather resistant receptacles offer maximum convenience for use in any residential or commercial outdoor location.
This Duplex GFCI receptacle support End of Life detection function, the built-in Indicator provides a notification when the 15A GFCI outlet (ground fault circuit interrupter) no longer delivers power to downstream devices. Both Test and Reset Buttons in matching color to GFCI make Faith Tamper-Resistant Outlets an ideal decoration for residential and commercial installations.

Features
Conducts the automatic self-test within two hours, ensuring it’s always ready to protect. The indicator light (red LED) flash in red color to signal it should be replaced when the device fail to pass the test.
Prevents line-load reversal miswire: no power will be delivered to the face or downstream receptacles if wired incorrectly.
Protects against shock caused by ground-fault occurrences unlike breaker alternatives, GFCI outlets make it easier to fix trips with a convenient reset button on the outlet.
Automatic end of life detection: provides improved end of life (EOL) detection by rejecting false EOL information.
Tamper-resistant shutters meet NEC Article 406.12 requirements, it features an internal shutter mechanism that prevents unwanted objects from being inserted into the receptacle for increased child safety.
Weather-resistant GFCI outlets include brass and nickel plated contacts and other metal parts that resist corrosion caused by moisture.
